Merchandise Return Policy
Books or other merchandise personalized by Carole
are final sales, unless they are damaged in delivery.
Non-personalized items may be returned for store credit
as long as they are in new, unused condition and you notify us of your
intent within 21 days from the date of sale.
Returns must be sent to us via a trackable shipping service.
Use the most economical shipping service, as we don't pay shipping charges
for returns. We will issue your credit when you email us the tracking number
for the shipment. Credit will be issued for the value of the goods and any
taxes collected.
We will
replace any damaged goods quickly once the damaged goods and damaged packaging are shipped back to us.
We will pay for the return shipping and the shipping for your replacements. Email us
at CustomerCat AT TheCatTherapist DOT com for a return authorization and a pickup order.
Sales & Other
Taxes
Strictly Cats Partners is based in New York City.
Therefore, 8.375% sales tax must be applied to all orders shipped to
addresses in New York State. Taxes are calculated on the total of items
purchased plus shipping charges, as required by law.
Shipments to all other U. S. states and
international destinations are U.S. and New York State sales tax free.
Shipping in the contiguous USA is
calculated in your purchase, according to the delivery options you choose.
Our standard shipper is the U. S. Postal
Service. Your package can be tracked at the
USPS web site with the tracking number we provide by email when
your order ships.
USPS reaches most addresses in the continental
USA and Canada overnight, if you order express service, and very quickly
otherwise. Orders to other countries are shipped via the best
(cheapest reliable) carrier for that country. If you have a preferred

Orders are shipped within 24
hours of purchase, often within only a few hours, except that orders received between Saturday morning and Sunday
night will ship the following Monday.
Autographed merchandise ships in two or three
days if Carole is in town. If she's on the road and the order will take
longer, we will email you.
If an item is sold with shipping included, no additional charges will be calculated
unless the delivery address is a foreign country.
Shipping charges to Canada and other international destinations often exceed our
standard charges. Order the speed of shipping you desire. We will calculate
the additional charge to achieve that service to your location and email you for
approval of the additional amount before we ship. If you agree, the
additional charges will be billed to the credit card on which you charge
your purchase.
In that message we'll ask for your telephone
number, which we need for mailing to foreign countries. We'll call
you to discuss shipping options if you request it. Please write the number as we would dial it from the
USA, if you know how. Thanks.
Shipments to international destinations may
involve Value Added or Import Taxes levied by your country that have not been collected with your
order.
If Value Added or other Taxes are assessed by your country
and billed to us, we will bill the
additional tax charge to your credit card or PayPal account when
such charges are assessed.
When orders are shipped to foreign countries,
any
additional charges are usually re-billed to us within a few days. However, taxes
imposed by some countries have been billed to us as long as several months
later.
We are sorry to take this position, but we have
no choice. We are not large enough to be able to afford to calculate
constantly changing international taxes in our order processing, and we
refuse to accept responsibility for your country's tax policy or inefficient
bureaucracy.
The U. S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service,
and other international carriers are charged the required taxes by your
government at some point before delivery is allowed. Paying these taxes
during shipment is the shipper's responsibility, though they are your
financial responsibility. The transport carrier bills us for any tax payments they make on behalf
of our order. We accept these charges by law when we ship,
otherwise our international orders would not be accepted for shipment.
